Research experience

Juan de Vicente has worked under H2020 (Horizon 2020), EU (European Union), MINECO (Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad, Spain), MCYT (Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología, Spain), MEC (Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia, Spain), MICINN (Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación) and private funded research projects with REPSOL YPF, UNILEVER R&D, KOLMER S.A., Maxamcorp Holding S.L. and TOTAL. Up to now he has leaded a total of 19 scientific research projects and 6 research contracts.

At present he is head of the Magnetic Soft Matter Group and Director of the Singular Laboratory on Advanced Technologies F2N2Lab at the University of Granada.

Research interests are within the scope of magnetic colloids, magneto-rheological fluids, ferrofluids, kinetic stability, rheology and tribology.
